A Daily Devotional with Pastor Doug Crouse June 6, 2018 The Pentecostal Priority Scripture Reading – Acts 4:30 - 31 (NLT)"Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.' After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. then they preached the word of God with boldness."

Just this past month in Victoria - were gathered: Pastors, leaders and church delegates for our National Conference of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, 'Picture This'. This fellowship encompasses over 1,100 churches across our nation that was birthed in the fires of the Pentecostal experience of the fullness of the Spirit in and through the lives of believers, that the Good News would go forward to the ends of the earth.

As today's text reminds us, 'The Pentecostal Priority' is still the same in 2018 as it was on the Day of Pentecost. Many of the same believers who had been filled in the upper room were crying out for a fresh filling from above, in order that they might accomplish the great work to which they were called.

The result? Much like what Jesus had promised: The sick were healed, even the dead were raised, most importantly the kingdom of God went forward in great grace and power with even the shadow of the apostles, and handkerchiefs being used to confirm the glory of our living and loving Lord Jesus.

Perhaps today, our greatest need can be found in this same prayer. That we would find ourselves desperate for God and the precious moving of His Spirit in and through the church for His greater glory, name and fame.

As we as a Fellowship gathered together last month – may the picture that we see of our future be even brighter and better than the very best of our past, because we are living in the last days, and the Father is pouring out His Spirit upon all people. Do it again Lord! Do it in and through us for the greater glory of Jesus and extension of your Kingdom!

Prayer Father today I remember those of our Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada family. I ask in Jesus name that Pastors, Board members, and church leaders will be infused with the fresh fire of Your Holy Spirit. As we have returned to our church families and ministries, may our hunger and passion and desire be the same. I ask for the glory of Jesus name.
