A Daily Devotional with Pastor Doug Crouse May 23, 2018 Especially You Scripture Reading – 1 Timothy 4:10 (NLT)"This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers."

Many people know the familiar scripture that you may see hoisted up at any number of events for the camera '3:16' that God loves everyone in the world. While it is of primary importance as children of God to know that He is the one working in us, we also need to be heart responsive to His calling and leading to go forth and do good works, in His power and for His greater glory.

In our obedience as His children we will have to show an ability to press through, to work hard, yes even to struggle for what we know He is calling us to do. For truly God is the Savior of everyone, especially those who believe..... 'Especially You'.

Yes - you my sister and brother as you continue to press on, refusing to give up, faithfully believing that what may look impassible and/or impossible to the human eye is of an absolute reality to the eye of faith. So remember - God is always looking for those who are willing to stand in the gap. Continually and gladly responding to everyone who continues to believe while asking, knocking and seeking in faith for the blessing and provision of another.

Acknowledging each one of us, who is willing to bring a sacrifice of our very lives in order that His kingdom may come and His will be done. And still today impressed by the person(s) who understand that with faith in our risen Lord, nothing, yes - absolutely nothing is impossible.

Prayer Thank-You Father, that nothing is impossible or impassible with You. Holy Spirit I ask You to fill my heart with faith today, to continue to press on, persevere, and believe - even those things that seem to the natural eye impossible. Jesus be glorified in me today I pray in Your holy name. AMEN!

Memory Verse:  Romans 1:16a NLT “For I am not ________ of this ______ News about Christ. It is the _______ of God at work, saving everyone who believes."
