A Daily Devotional with Pastor Doug Crouse April 9, 2018 Godly Prosperity Scripture Reading – 3 John 1:2 (NLT)"Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit."

John reminds each of us today of the powerful and all-encompassing results of our eternal salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Not only are we seated in heavenly places spiritually with Him, but that condition of our spirit, with the Holy Spirit abiding within us also influences the rest of who we are becoming as the people of God.

So then there is no separation between the Spirit life that God gives to us, but we are able to allow His glory to flow from our spirit, to our soul (emotions), of course our minds as well as our bodies.

'Godly Prosperity', does not have so much to do with the amount of money that we have in the bank, for God has promised to meet all of our needs according to His riches and His glory. Rather it has to do with how we allow our spiritual reality in Christ Jesus to inform our thinking, influence our actions, inspire our emotions and infiltrate our bodies.

As a result, we become God's thankful people realizing that His care for us is all encompassing no matter what kinds of trials and testing's we may have to endure. That as we face them in His strength our lives become a reservoir from which others can come and drink deeply as they too look to Jesus and receive His abundant supply.

Prayer Father, You have promised to meet each and every one of my needs and today I acknowledge that in Jesus name. May I glorify you today in spirit, soul (emotions), mind, words, deeds and body I pray in Jesus mighty name.

Memory Verse:  Proverbs 11:25 NLT“The ________ will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed."
