Come On In   Scripture Reading: Psalm 100:4 - 5

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.”

It was kind of like an exclusive club in the Old Testament. If you were to be ministering before the Lord in the Tabernacle symbolizing His Person and presence, you needed to be a Levite, born and called into it. It of course was the job of the priests to intercede on behalf of the people and for the promises of God.

However, now through our living and loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Father bids us, one and all to, ‘Come On In’! Yes, my sisters and brothers – today, each and every day we are called to come before Almighty God and to do so with hearts of praise and thanksgiving for all that He has done, and all that He has both purposed and promised to do through our joyful surrender.

Truly there is no one anywhere, and nothing at any time that is any more deserving of our unadulterated passion and praise. For God is so good to us, His love, mercy and faithfulness are enduring forever and ever. Not based upon our nationality, our status in life, or whether we have been created male or female, but because we are all included in the amazing fact that our God has so loved the world that He gave up His one and only Son for those of us created in His very own image.

All of us have experienced and also expressed at times the fluctuations of human love based upon our expectations of others, or even their own choices that have disappointed them – and those who have been affected. However, the love of God that has been offered through Jesus Christ our living and loving Savior and Lord is the perfect reflection of the heart of the Father and will never change.

God’s heart and greatest desire is that people all over the earth will call upon the name of Jesus and discover everything that God has created for them to be, both today and throughout eternity itself!

Now my sisters and brothers we are all priests of the Father and we too are called to intercede on behalf of the people of God and people all over the earth who have yet to discover His mercy and grace. You have been born-again, into it.  Remember Jesus is ever interceding too, that His grace and glory will shine through you!

Prayer Father, I come to You once again today with praise and thanksgiving for all that You are, all that You have purposed and all You desire to do through my grateful surrender. For Your honor and glory, I pray that my life would be a reflection of Your great faithfulness extended to all people through Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord. Amen.

Memory Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:24 “God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.”
