Look Out Scripture Reading – Proverbs 4:25 - 26  (NLT)

"Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path."

Often times over areas of forests, or certainly at borders there will be elevated areas in order to be able to gain a higher perspective, we know an area like this as a, 'Look Out'. The higher elevation enables the person who is up in the tower to gain a better perspective and see much further than they otherwise would just on the ground.

Such is the case when we come to Christ, and receive His grace - now being able to see and think on a much higher plane. Able to distinguish not only the opinions of man, but to understand what the will of God is in our lives, which leads us on to higher ground. We definitely have a heavenly perspective and now live our lives in light of eternity.

From this vantage point of God's Spirit, we are now able to see His pathway, His plans and come to understand His ways which are so much higher than the ways of man. Such an understanding fits us more appropriately for this world, but certainly for our reward and service in eternity.

There are still the temptations of the world, the flesh and the devil, who would try to take us off of God's best pathway and plan and see us walking and living in a lower base type of existence. Such a venture certainly opens us up to dangers that we otherwise would be spared from.

However, God's Spirit continues to lead us along His higher pathway. Not only for our own good, but ultimately for His greater glory, for He alone is worthy....Amen.

Prayer Thank-You Heavenly Father for Your salvation Your leading and Your guiding me to walk in the better way. Holy Spirit give me wisdom I pray in each and every area of my life to see that pathway that You have prepared for me to prosper in. I ask  and once again commit to this in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord.
