Too Many to Count Scripture Reading – Revelation 7:10  (NLT)

"And they were shouting with a mighty shout, 'Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!"

Once again in this book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we get a picture of what kind of activities take place around the throne and altar of God.Have you ever wondered why God seems to be lingering, concerning His return and the setting up of His kingdom?  This text reminds us that there will be, 'Too Many to Count' around the throne, from every language, tribe, nation and people.

This is exactly the reason why the Lord Jesus has not yet returned to earth. He is leaving His bride, His body, the church which He promised He would continue to build and prosper, even against the forces of hell itself. The reason Jesus is doing this is in order that the great gospel of His grace will continue to be extended to the very ends of the earth.

Thank God for missionaries all over the world who are responding in obedient faith to the Lord Jesus Christ and promptings of the Holy Spirit, and leaving land, family, familiarity, in order to take this message to unreached peoples in the saving name of Jesus.

Thank God for others, who are working in a prosperous setting, but have their hearts set in heaven, and are sacrificially giving in order for the work of the gospel to continue to go forward in missions.

Thank God, that He has called you and I today to be a part of this great end time harvest in Jesus name, until all have heard and we lift up our eyes to see Jesus face to face!

Today's text reminds me of another scene in the New Testament where the people were all holding palm branches in their hands - I wonder what we will be doing next?

Prayer Father in Heaven, I rejoice that I am a part of the Body of Christ Jesus all over the world. Holy Spirit, prompt me, lead me, open my eyes to do my part in this end time harvest. I lift up missionaries all over the world serving you today. Protect and prosper them in Jesus name I pray.
