In Honor of Moms Scripture Reading – Proverbs 31:30 - 31 (NLT)

"Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done Let her deeds publicly declare her praise."

Happy Mother's Day, to my wonderful wife and God fearing and following mother.  Such a celebration should happen at least once a month I think for all that you do and the way in which you do it. Truly this is a day to celebrate, ‘In Honor of Moms’, everywhere and everyone like them!

Working hard for the best interests of her family. Being industrious and wise in the way she spends her life. Investing time, effort and energies for a great return. Always bringing a sense of optimism and energy into the sometimes daunting tasks before her. Allowing the lamp to burn the mid-night oil for the benefit of others. Seeing that clothing is provided and that people are well cared for. Taking care to dress appropriately and beautifully.

Contributing to the needs of those in the community and participating where there is a need. Wearing the clothing of strength, dignity, and honor as a woman of God. Speaking words carefully and using wisdom, so those who quote her will in fact be praising her name. Refusing to be lazy, but having a watchful eye over her affairs. Rising up in the eyes of those who know her the best and being called blessed.

On this Mother's Day, I need to shout it out to my Mom, and my wife for being the very best women in my life. And I know that I am not alone in this well deserved declaration of praise. Enjoy this day each one of you ladies, in His name we pray.

Prayer Father I pray today for mothers everywhere. May heart expressions of love and appreciation take place today. May families be drawn closer together I pray in Jesus name.
