Jesus concluded His Sermon on the Mount with a story illustrating an important truth:
Two houses were built on different foundations. One house was built on sand and was destroyed when rain, floods and wind swept it away. The other house was built on a foundation of bedrock and remained firm. Jesus stated after telling the story, "Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters risk and the winds beat against that house, it won't collapse because it is built on bedrock."
Our lives can often be defined by what others tell us to believe. We can become confused with all the different perspectives on God, the Bible, or how to practically live the Christian life. This can lead to ups and downs in our spiritual walk and instability in our relationship with God.
That is why Southside offers Foundations: Foundations provides a step-by-step approach to understanding the core truths of Scripture, so that you can have stability and assurance in your walk with God.
Join us, as we build a stronger foundation, together!
