I came across
a pharmacy one time that had the name “Day and Night.”
The obvious implication was that you could come to this
pharmacy at any time and know that you could come in and
get what you needed.
There's
a Scripture in Psalm 1:2 that talks about those who delight
in the law of God and it comments that they are meditating
on it day and night. This isn't saying that these
people never sleep or that this is all they do.
But it is stating a wonderful truth for those of us who
know the great value of God's Word. We can truly
meditate on, think about and ponder the precious truths
of the Bible at any time, at any place, regardless of
our situation. The Word of God can encourage and
strengthen us day and night.
If
you ever drive past that pharmacy may it remind you of
the Word of God.
