Have
you ever stopped and asked
yourself
where your victory comes from?
Some
may think it's from hard work, a big effort or maybe due
to a close friend. The truth of the matter is that
it comes from God.
Psalm
62:1 clearly declares, “I wait quietly before God,
for my victory comes from him.” The Psalmist totally
understands the source of victory and knows that waiting
quietly before God is an important part of that transaction.
Inasmuch
as the Psalmist grasped the truth, we too can grasp that
very same truth and apply it to our lives. When
we understand that God is the source of victory we will
be quicker to turn to Him when we are in need.
